The Daanav Text Animation Screen Saver is a lightweight Windows utility that displays customized, animated text across your monitor when your computer goes idle. It allows you to display a scrolling sequence of custom text lines simply by linking it to a standard text file. 📥 Downloading and Installing the Screen Saver
Download the file: Visit the official Daanav Text Animation Post to download the screensaver package.
Extract the archive: If downloaded as a .zip file, right-click the folder and select Extract All. Run the installer:
If the package includes an .exe file, double-click it to automatically run the setup wizard.
If it is an .scr file, right-click the file and select Install from the context menu to copy it to your Windows system directory. ⚙️ Customizing the Animated Text
The screensaver reads sentences directly from a localized document file.
Create a text document: Open Notepad (or any basic text editor).
Add your text: Type the phrases or sentences you want to animate, putting each new phrase on its own line.
Save with ANSI encoding: Click File > Save As. Name the file (e.g., mysentences.txt). Crucially, change the Encoding dropdown at the bottom of the save window to ANSI, then click Save. 🖥️ Activating the Screen Saver in Windows
Once the file is ready, you need to point Windows to your newly installed screensaver.
Open System Settings: Right-click an empty space on your desktop and select Personalize.
Navigate to Screen Saver: Click on Lock screen on the left menu, scroll down, and select Screen saver settings.
Select Daanav: Choose the Daanav Text Animation screen saver from the main dropdown list.
Link your text file: Click the Settings… button right next to the dropdown menu. A configuration window will open; click the browse option to locate and select the ANSI text file you created earlier.
Finalize: Set your preferred idle timeout using the Wait box, click Apply, and press OK. Free ScreenSaver with Text Animation – Daanav.com
